HLAD & TEAM APPEARANCES
         

Aleš Hlad has entered SuperMoto World Cup S2 racing last year and he already won his first GP - the one in Athens, Greece -, so he ended the championship in the 6th position overal. He was the only non-factory-team rider to win a S1 GP in the 2006 racing season. And with his win KTM won the constructors challenge with a 25 point advantage over their rival Husqvarna.

Aleš Hlad rides for the Italian Mollo Franco MOTORACING Team and has had plenty of success with them in the past years already: he won the European Champion title in 2005, and before that he was Italian regional Champion Triveneto three consecutive years in a row (2003, 2004 and 2005). He has been awarded the Slovenian Motorcyclist of the Year award in 2005 according to the national auto-moto association AMZS and by journalists from the beautiful country under the Alps.

NEWS - At the first race of the World Championship S2 supermoto in Castelleto di Branduzzo Ales achieved 4th place with two excellent starts, he scored 34 points and is now 4th in overall classification.

ALEŠ HLAD #96 in the season 2007 rides a KTM SMR 610 supermoto motorcycle with Akrapovič Exhausts, KTM PowerParts upgrades, Dunlop tires, Öhlins front and rear suspension, Selle Dalla Valle seat, Motoracing custom steering head, a lowered tail, Renthal Fat Bar and PT braking technology.

He wears M-Tech racing suit & gloves, Salice eyewear and HJC carbon helmet, Oxtar boots.
